Just over one year ago, we were at Highline Hospital not knowing who or what was coming to us. Now, just as everyone had promised, Atticus is the best joy we've ever had. He had his first year check up yesterday and proudly weighed in at 27 lbs 11 oz and measured in the high 95th percentile. To give you some perspective, he looks like you're average two and a half year old. He is a chunk!!!
During his birthday weekend, we were lucky enough to have our awesome friend Brandi take professional pictures of Atticus and us at Gas Works Park in Seattle. If you've ever seen 10 Things I Hate About You, the scene where Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger are paint balling was shot at this park! The pictures are as sweet as ever and captured his personality (and cool new red converse shoes) so perfectly as you'll see.

AHHH!! He is SO stinkin cute! I can't believe he's one already! The year FLEW by! Tara's baby almost shared his birth too...but she had him on the fifth. I LOVE the big picture you have of your fam...you guys are a good looking group!
Yeah I love all of this...every little bit. I miss all of you so much! I swear, I'm gonna try my hardest to find a way to see you guys before the end of the year is up!

Thanks Tiff! We are really enjoying little Atticus, he's such a love. The year did fly by. I love Tara's pictures of little Noah. It's funny to think she basically repeated my pregnancy timeline! I hope you're enjoying your new little nephew.

Marie! What cute pictures!! Who took them? They're awesome. I can NOT believe how much Atticus weighs. Hazel was only 18.8 at her 1 year check up. She's so small in comparison. It's ok though, they still make a cute couple!
Also, I think Atticus has...two? more teeth since I last saw him!?! So so sweet! :)

Adam and Marie, you are both as cute as I remember!! Atticus is darling and you take great pics too! He is a big boy!!!He is even bigger than Liam was, and he was big! Take care and glad to see life is good.
